Tsvetochka
Development of a name for a chain of flower shops
The flower business in Moscow is a market that is closed to the outside observer and difficult to analyze. Here, expensive flower boutiques coexist next to flower stalls and tents. As a result, the level of service that Muscovites have to deal with is very heterogeneous.
We were faced with the task of developing a name for a new network of European-level flower shops with professional and friendly staff. The values of the new brand were friendliness, beauty and accessibility, so the name had to be “fresh”, bright and understandable - like a spring bouquet.
The result was an elegant and simple solution: Tsvetochka. The name is derived from Tsvetok (flower in Russian) and Tochka (point in Russian). The name is self-sufficient, speaks for itself - this is a small outlet where flowers are sold. Multi-colored dots are used in the corporate style, so the designers managed to reflect the play on words invented by the namers in the corporate style.
