A cozy hotel of memories: a retail concept for a photo printing service.

Periodica is a convenient service for printing photo books, which helps to preserve memories of the most significant moments of life.

The company contacted the LINII agency with the task of developing a retail concept for the interior and packaging for the Family Photo Archives service. The location of the first offline point of Periodika was the business center Gogolevsky 11.

In this space, Periodica provides its unique service of creating family photo archives. It includes digitizing archival photographs, developing a layout and printing a photo album with a unique family history of the client. This is the painstaking work of the company's managers, digitizers and designers.

The goal of creating the space was to reflect the values of the new brand project and reveal the role of space through design. It was important to attract the attention of visitors and passers-by, to create a wow-effect. To ensure a comfortable process of interaction between the client and the brand offline and to organically fit the offline point in its style into the surrounding interior, but at the same time to highlight and make it unique.

The concept of Memory Service was born from the visual context and tasks of the space, it is based on caring for clients and their memories, revealed in every element of the space, which helps to create an atmosphere of coziness and comfort.
The interior of the offline zone is decorated in an expressive art deco style, which emphasizes the elegance and theatricality of the business center space. This design creates an atmosphere of a hotel lobby, contributing to the calm of the guest.

There are two seating groups near the windows: a soft sofa for clients, a manager's chair and a table for working with photographs — they allow you to have a long consultation with the selection of photographs for the future family archive. Sofas in milky velvet visually expand the space, harmoniously combining with coffee chairs.

The consultation area, where guests spend most of their time, is separated from the passage by classic luggage carts — a symbol of the aesthetics of the best hotels.

The keys at the reception symbolize a careful attitude to memories. This metaform connects the hotel style of the space with the ordering process. The key is issued at the moment of handing over the family archives to the caring service managers.

When the order is ready, clients receive a unique photo album in a branded box and a heart-shaped keychain, which conveys the main value of Periodika - to preserve memories dear to the heart.

Additional small pedestals-trolleys on wheels are located near the managers' chairs as a convenient tool for working with archives and placing treats for guests.

The box for issuing finished photo albums to clients is designed in the same style as the space and emphasizes the key missions of the project with the help of communications.

The deep blue color fills with calm and refers to the past. Delicate inscriptions with embossing and foiling, tissue paper and tactile sensations from the materials make the process of receiving photographs especially beautiful and enjoyable.

The connection between generations, filled with stories: mom's letters and grandma's diaries, led us to the task of creating a unique space.

The highlight of the interior was the photo booth, where Periodica clients and business center visitors can take an instant memorable photo.

On one of the carts there is a composition of large cubes, on each side of which there are black and white photographs referring to various nostalgic moments of life.

The work area for the manager is integrated into the reception and is deliberately hidden from the eyes of the guest. It is equipped with the necessary equipment: a laptop, a scanner and other equipment. A stationary work place for the manager and a bar chair for the administrator are provided.

All client processes were organized using thoughtful zoning so that nothing interferes with carefully immersing themselves in memories, providing an opportunity to relax with a cup of tea and immerse themselves in the pleasant moments of their lives.
