Development of packaging design for a coffee brand
The coffee brand Veronese had an outdated design that didn't convey a premium feel or appeal to its target audience. LINII specialists conducted an audit and noted the lack of a unified visual identity, a disjointed style, and low brand recall.
As a solution, the LINII design team proposed a concept featuring animal portraits drawn in the style of Italian painting, emphasizing the nobility and luxury of the coffee ritual, while the animals added recognition and memorability.
Each character symbolizes different coffee flavors and evokes associations with a specific product line.
A cat, representing refined taste and hedonism, was chosen as the face of the Dolce line. A sophisticated shade of gray complemented the image. The Virtuoso line was brought to life with a red fox, shaded with a deep, rich blue. To reflect the vibrant and invigorating flavor of the Bravo line, an owl was chosen. The packaging was complemented by a vibrant red color.
As a result, packaging designs were developed for six lines: bean, ground, milk coffee and capsules (Nespresso, Dolce Gusto).
